Steps to Make Payment For Payroll In Quickbooks

Whenever a user sign up for a paid Payroll plan in quickbooks for the first time, you will have to make pre-defined advance payment based on plan chosen and number of employees and your account will be charged with the amount of your first payment. Subsequently, each month, an amount would be deducted from your account balance based on your usage (formula for usage calculation is mentioned in next answer) and you can continue using the application as long as you have sufficient balance in your account.

Steps to Make Payment for Payroll in Quickbooks


  • First of all Goto your Payroll Setting tab in your Quickbooks.
  • Now, Check the Balance available in you account under "Account Balance" tab.
  • Select a Specific amount to make your recharge payment.
  • Make your Payment Online with that specific amount and click recharge.
